Texting terms
How texts work, what they cost, and how to stop them.
Last updated October 7, 2026
The two kinds of texts
- Texts from a business that uses Apex Job Pro. Plumbing and home service businesses use Apex Job Pro to text their own customers: appointment confirmations and reminders, on-the-way notices, estimates, invoices, payment receipts and replies to your messages. These texts come from that business.
- Texts from Apex Job Pro to its users. People who use Apex Job Pro at work get sign-in codes and account alerts by text.
How you agree to texts
You agree to get texts when you give your mobile number to a business that uses Apex Job Pro and agree to be texted, for example when booking a job, on a booking form, or by texting the business first. Users agree when they add their mobile number to their Apex Job Pro account. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything.
How often
Message frequency varies with your appointments and account activity.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.
Stopping texts
Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that number. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed. To start again, reply START.
